About District 5 Fairs

District 5 consist of 22 Agricultural Societies that host Agricultural Fairs in their community to encourage an awareness of agriculture and the importance of agriculture has had to the community, past, present and future. These Agricultural Fairs have deep roots in their community that date back further than 1850.

As a District it gives us an opportunity meet frequently and discuss Agriculture and Homecraft topics with our close neighbouring fairs in our district.  The purpose of this website is to provide information on demand to the fairs in our district, promoting more effective communication and thereby improving our ability to offer increase quality of service to the visitors of each of our fairs.

Meetings/Calendar for D5

Events

District 5 Calendar of Events consist of Spring Meetings, Judging School (when available), Ambassador Contest, CNE Day and the Annual Meeting.  For more information about the calendar details, please contact the District 5 Secretary. If you require the agenda for the upcoming meeting, please visit and register for the Members area

Ambassador Program

This program provides current ambassadors the opportunity to participate in a workshop and competition that would better prepare them for the CNE.

The program does not focus solely on winning, it offers practical skills that can be transferred in to life experiences. Much like local competition and programs this offers networking and countless unforeseen opportunities.

The successful Ambassador candidate will act as a mentor for future ambassadors during their year as District 5 Ambassador.

If you have any questions, please call  705.717.1707 (Matt) or email at mattgarwood17@hotmail.com.

Participate in the Program

The first form (Ambassador Registration), is for the Ambassador to fill out. The second form (Fair Registration) is for the Fair to complete.
